Société Gamma Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of François Beaudin as Chief Executive Officer. François holds a BA in translation. He spent a large part of his career at the Translation Bureau as a translator and a manager, and then worked at Language Training Canada before becoming Director, Official Languages and Translation, at Statistics Canada.
To support the company in its plans for continued growth, François brings a wealth of experience that complements the existing management team spearheaded by dedicated industry pioneers:
Gamma’s Chairman of the Board, Gilles Gamas, was a founding director of the Language Industry Association (AILIA) and the Language Technologies Research Centre (LTRC);
President and COO, Micheline M. Cloutier, has unique skills as both a manager and a businessperson. As such, she is the co-founder of Terminotix Inc., a company that develops and markets software for computer-assisted translation, terminology management and documentary databases.
